Baby Gear!!

We have been so blessed to receive the best quality baby gear for free! We were given an entire set from Chicco that we just love. We got to pick the pattern and chose Adventure. It was hard because there were so many options, but we finally decided on this one and love it! We use the carseat and stroller the most right now, and it's nice to know our baby is safe in them. They are also easy to use! All four of the pieces we received are well made and easy to store, which is great when you don't have much room in your home. So, anyone that is wondering what to buy for their baby, check this out!

Here is the Combi Stroller that we also received for FREE! It's an amazing light-weight stroller that has a strap so I can throw it over my shoulder and take it with me. I used it in the airport, and it was so easy to get around with. I also love the Orange and gray polka dot theme. Looks so stylish=) Here's Reagan and I going for a walk!!

The Big Announcement!

Well first, for those of you who haven't heard yet, Jim and I are expecting our first baby on December 20th! This is my last week in the 1st trimester, so 2 more to go! I have not had any sickness and hopefully it stays that way! It was quite a surprise, but we are thrilled and can't wait to find out what we're having! I know the picture is really small and when this was taken our baby was the size of a kidney bean, so you can't really tell, but hopefully we'll have another one taken soon. Our baby is now the size of a lemon! =) I realize noone may read this now because they got sick of me not updating my blog, but just in case someone has been faithfully checking, I wanted to make sure everyone knew!=)

The 3 of Us!

My girls at work, Sandra and Skip (I'm sitting on her lap). Lots of laughs and good times with these girls. Working together was the only way we survived this madhouse!

We'll miss you Sandy! But, don't worry we'll be in contact for sanity reasons or just to pass on interesting work stories=)

More Updates

Yard work pictures...exciting, I know! But, 2 weeks ago we rototillered our back yard because it was so uneven and hilly, so we leveled it and now we can plant some grass!! Hopefully I'll have update pictures soon of our new grass and our white trash backyard will start looking a little better!
Bauer hanging out with Jim...more like chasing the rake around!

Jim acting tough...grrr

A Little Bit of This and That

Well, since I have been away from the blogging world for a few months, with no legitimate excuse, there's no way to update on everything that has been going on, so I'll just post a bunch of pictures that will show you what we've been up to!

We're an Aunt and Uncle Again!!

On Wednesday, Jim's sister Alisa had a BIG baby boy named Simeon Kyle Hobbs. He was 9 lbs 4 oz and 21 inches long. Funny because that is exactly what I was when I was born!! He's already taking after his Aunt Ashley. He's a cutie, and we're very excited to have a little nephew around to spoil.

Christmas 2006

My parents and sister came for a week over New Years, and we had so much fun!! My parents actually flew in a day early because we were supposed to get yet another snow storm, and they didn't want to get stuck somewhere. So thankfully they made it out ok! It was fun having so much snow around, especially since they haven't seen any in PA this winter.

On New Years Day we went up to Breckenridge for a dinner sleigh ride!

Can and Bauer...they loved him...and he loved all the attention.

Can anyone say...White Christmas?

The snow started early Wednesday morning, and didn't stop until we had 24 " in our yard! I was off work Wednesday through Friday, so I had an extra long Christmas holiday...it was wonderful! I've only been out in Colorado for a little over a year, but they say this is unusual...sure it is!
Jim and I went snowshoeing through our neighborhoods on Thursday and Friday!! So fun, and you usually can't do that because we don't get enough snow or it melts too quickly. Bauer loved the snow. It was very deep for him, but he just hopped and jumped along through it all.
Sorry the pictures aren't the best, I took them with my camera phone, because our camera is broken...bad timing! Anyways, here is our house. Next is our neighbors...I just thought it looked so funny with all the snow hanging off the roof. Ours was like that in the back...we couldn't see out our bedroom window because the snow was hanging so low. Last is Jim and Bauer playing King of the Mountain! Not really, but it was funny because after this, everytime we take Bauer for a walk, he has to run up that snow pile. We still have a lot of snow around our house, and guess what....we're supposed to get another big storm Thursday and Friday!!! My parents are flying in Friday, so I'm praying they don't have any problems. With this past storm, they shut the airport down for 2 days!
Well, hope you all had a very Merry Christmas! We had a beautiful White Christmas here in Colorado, but missed seeing many friends and family back in PA! Hope to see you all soon...Happy New Years!

Walking in a Winter Wonderland

I think this was from our 2nd snowfall a few weeks ago, but we woke up on a Saturday morning to this, so we had to go for a walk. Bauer loves the snow! This is a park right near our house, so we go there a lot.

No, this isn't a postcard, just some pretty sweet photography. That's me and Bauer walking.

Sappy, but cute! I couldn't resist!

Long Overdo...

Hi Everyone! I've been meaning to do this for some time, but life has just been crazy!! Anyways, Thanksgiving weekend, Jim, Bauer and I drove over an hour from our house to find the perfect Christmas tree. We had a great time, except that we weren't finding the perfect tree. I kept thinking that, like in the National Lampoon's Christmas vacation movie, I would walk into a field and there would be the perfect tree, with the sun shining down on it. Well, our tree had some sun shining down on it, but it's rather Charlie Brown looking. Oh well, we had fun! It's different from all the other trees I've ever had, and was so pricky that I had to wear gloves to put the ornaments on, but we love it now! We also wanted to get our Christmas picture while we were up there. So, it was kind of disapointing when we noticed there wasn't much snow, actually we found one of the only patches to take our picture on....it made it more Christmas like=) So, Jim set the camera up on a log, and then ran over, all the while trying to keep Bauer's attention on the camera. Which explains why I, the wife, am holding the tree and the dog, while Jim runs as fast as he can to make the picture.
